Capturing The Man Behind Oshawa’s Spider-man

Finished Pic

For our photo assignment, right away our resident Spider-man took the spot of the model for the class. With the use of the whiteboard to fill in the flash’s shadow, we posed Preston in several more energetic poses to make use of the advanced lighting studio we currently had time in. Before the shoot, however, we had members of our team stand in for Preston to test the quality of lighting we would get from the flash and fill. Observing one another’s pictures to find the proper settings to create a dynamic but natural feeling picture.

I took this image of Preston to edit my final picture and performed color correction to brighten up his skin. Healed and brushed away some marks on his face. Finally finishing the picture by cropping it to an 8 X 10-inch ratio giving us this final version of the picture. It’s always enjoyable to bring out a person’s looks through photoshop and through this picture, Oshawa’s Spider-man is looking really cool.
